My aunt just came back from HongKong a month ago and look what she got me! A LOT of souvenirs! Most of them are food and there are some beauty bits. Let's just see what I got :D

It's a cute little bottle of tester for perfume with the smell of violet. Really convenient to be brought anywhere :)

I was looking for some sponges and my aunt bought some for me from Sasa. I haven't used it yet, but it's quite soft.

A really everlasting tint. The color is quite too bold for me, but I usually used it as the base for my lipstick, since it makes my dry lips look less dry. Love this!

I really love this eyebrow pencil from Etude. There are a lot different colors, and so far I've tried the gray brown, brown, and my aunt bought the gray one for me. I haven't used this so I don't know which one will suits me better. So far the gray brown one match me better.

Oh my gosh! Isn't this lipstick just gorgeous? The color is bold and lasting well. It's too red for me, but I still love it! My aunt found this at Sasa.

I really love the orange one! I always love orange chocolate and this one is just amazing! The cookies and cream is good too, but I still love the orange one more.

I've always loved the crispy version of this candy, and I'm glad to try the crispy M&M's! Couldn't stop eating it.

A chocolate wafer. The taste is just okay for me, but anything chocolate is just nice.

There are a lot of small packagings inside which makes it convenient to be brought anywhere. It has quite unique texture, like not so crispy but also not that soft. Really love both flavors!

I was so happy to see this!! Pepero is one of my favorite snacks and it has my bias' photo on it. What's not to love?

At first I thought it was a green tea flavor, but then I look at the picture of salad on the bottom left. I really love this flavor, I ended up finishing it in one siting.

It's a milk cookie which is shaped as the Frozen characters, and look I got Elsa refrigerator magnet!

I never really enjoyed Jelly Beans or candies in general, but it's just super cute and it's strawberry flavors.

We have this in Indonesia, but I never tried it before. Now, I know that Kinder chocolates are my favorite :)

Peanut butter sandwich! I like peanut butter and I enjoyed eating this.

This is my favorite mint chocolate ever! The mint just tastes perfect, not to strong and not too mild. It compliments the chocolate perfectly. Would like to have some more!

And of course, I have to request this snack! My all time favorite snack! Love it!

Hello everyone! Starting this month Food Travel posts will appear more than once a month! I just realized that the monthly post is getting too long sometimes, and it will be better to have a more detailed and shorter individual post than the longer one. So, I just decided to post one for every place that I visited. Don't worry though, because the monthly post will still be posted as a recap of my food travelling on that month. Stay tuned for more Food Travel posts in the future, since I just love food so much!! :D

Two weeks ago I finally had a chance to visit this one particular place that I've been wanting to visit but never got a chance. Kudos Cafe! I love how the facade looks and I used to wondered what does it look like on the inside, and of course I was also wondering about the food!

I came here for a breakfast with my friend. They have a breakfast package for 50k (only available at 8 am - 11 am) which consists of the breakfast menu that you choose and a cup of coffee. They have four different dishes for breakfast, and you can choose between a latte or cappuccino for the coffee. After considering for a while, I ordered the Big Breakfast and a cup of Cappuccino.

The coffee appeared first then followed by the meal a few minutes later. I started to eat it and I wasn't able to finish it. It was indeed a BIG breakfast. There were two slices of bread, mushroom, scrambled egg, sausages, tomato, shredded cheese, and butter on my plate. The bread was definitely making me full quite fast, so I just ate 1 1/3 of it. I really enjoyed the scrambled egg, mushroom, and sausages though. The taste is just perfect for me. The coffee was also perfectly bitter just like it needed to be.





The vibe of the place is really nice. I said I like the facade, but I like the inside even more! This three-story building has a unique design that I really love. Each floor is unique and I was really fascinated by it. I always love room with big windows plus the great view, and this place has it. I believe I could stay for hours in this place, if only we weren't in quite a rush that time.



I'm sorry I didn't take too many pictures of the building that time. As I said we were quite in a rush since we had to head to another place soon enough, so we just stopped by to have a quick little breakfast. But, I will definitely go back to this place if I have another chance. I am interested to try the pasta next time. Tell me your menu recommendation if you have ever visited this place too! Music has a power to tell stories and affect somebody's mood. Those are the things I love about music. I really love the stories in the songs, especially when I can relate to it. As I'm listening to it, it will be as if it's talking to me, and I just love that feeling. I listen to music when I'm happy, when I'm bored, but especially when I'm sad and lonely. I just come to music to lift my mood up and make that beautiful smile appears again.

Today I want to share a song that has been helping feeling better when I'm kind of feeling down and tired. The lyrics of this song are just so perfect and they help me to believe that everything's will be alright. It's a song called Be Alright by Ariana Grande. In this post I will tell you how I relate the lyrics of this song to my daily life. You can listen to this beautiful song here:






The chorus is my favorite part! We need to remember that we have control over our emotions and decisions. Yes, we can cry now and then, but you need to remember to set your mind right. Those tears should be a release, and after you're finished with it you need to make up your mind. Here's where a positive mindset will surely helps a lot. You need to be able to tell yourself that everything is going to be alright. You need to decide that you're going to be alright. Not anybody else, it's just you.

The way that the same lyrics are being repeated twice shows that sometimes we need to keep saying it again and again. It's almost like we're hypnotizing ourselves. It's all in our head, and it is indeed the hardest part. It will be easier to persuade others, but it's harder to persuade ourselves sometimes. But, I believe it's just a matter of practice. The more you train yourself to think positive, the more easier it will be time after time. Practice makes perfect, right?

When you have the strong believe that you're going to be alright, no matter how many times you've been pushed down, you will still be able to get back up each time and say I'm going to be alright.

I just couldn't help to take a lot of pictures of the new packagings to share it with you guys! How exciting! As you can see they have some of the Ice Age characters on the packaging. I was really tempted to buy one each, but I just bought the squirrel one (Scrat), because I really love this funny character, and look the acorn is there with him! lol

I was kind of hoping to find something within the packaging but all I found are the cheetos. Not that I'm complaining, but I just miss the fun of collecting stuff out of this snack. Maybe I'm just being affected by the nostalgia feeling from the release of Pokemon Go. But I know deep inside, I'm really wishing Cheetos and other snacks will put toys inside their snack packaging again someday in the future. Collecting all those toys is just a really beautiful memory from my childhood.

 I still don't know what is going on though. What's up with this new Ice Age 5 special edition packaging series? I've checked out the social media accounts written on the packaging and I found nothing. I haven't heard any news about this packaging yet, but I hope we'll find out soon enough! If you love watching Ice Age then maybe you should collect the packaging of all the characters and take a picture of them :D

Hello there! I'm sorry I've been gone for a few days and didn't post anything. I just didn't feel like it, because I've been having some quite rough days and I wasn't emotionally stable. But, there is this one sentence that keeps echoing inside my head during those days:

I just finished watching this K-Drama last night! It's been quite some time since the last time I watched a K-Drama. I believe the last time I watched any K-Drama was around last year. I even forgot the title of the last drama I watched. Anywayyy. since Descendants of the Sun became so famous, I was intrigued to get back into this world. Last month I decided to watch a K-Drama! I remembered this one particular drama that I got so interested in, but never ended up watching, Oh My Venus.

When I hit that play button of the first episode, I was really interested and curious about the weight loss journey of the female lead. I thought a fat female lead would pop up on the screen. Apparently, the female lead was once a really pretty girl who then years later would have a drastic change on her appearance. I didn't really expect this kind of story line, so I was so happy to know more about the things that would happen to her.

Just like any other K-Drama, the story line will get more complicated and tangled. More characters started to show up, more connections of the people and events occurred. The most important thing that I really love from this drama is how positive the female lead, Kang Joo Eun, is. She keeps on saying how she can achieve anything as long as she puts her mind into it. I think it's such a good message for the viewer. As you keep on watching the series, you will see how Joo Eun overcomes her struggles by keeping that sentence alive. However, this series is also able to keep the story quite realistic with Joo Eun breaks into tears once in a while when things are way too hard for her.

I laughed a lot and I also cried so hard while watching this drama. The characters are so funny and playful, which made me so happy to watch them. Still, at some point, K-Drama will have some sad plot on the story line, and I cried so hard when it finally occurred at the end of episode 12 of this series. Fortunately, at the end of this drama, everyone gets their own happy endings.

Despite the beautiful story line, full of interesting ups and downs, there is still something missing or incomplete on the plot for me. I'm still really curious about the stalker that stalked Joo Eun at the end of episode 4. Who is he? Why did he stalk her? I thought he would appear again on the next episodes, but he never did. I feel like I still need some explanations about him, but he's just gone instead. I'm quite disappointed by that.

Overall, I really love this drama. It has a good message about positive thinking and it's really entertaining to watch. I will rate this drama 4.5 out of 5.

I'm on my Eid holiday, so I hope I can go to a lot of places and try out some delicious food out here in my hometown, since I'm not traveling anywhere. Well, if I do go, those stories will be on my next month post though. So, let's just enjoy what June had to offer me first. Here you go!



I never liked sushi, so I just ate a plate of udon here (the price is around 50k). However, I did try one piece of sushi, and I was actually okay with it. Hmm.. How strange..

I was there as a part of my full-time job, but I did enjoy the place. I genuinely enjoyed the Chicken Pok (30k). You should definitely try it when you visit this place.

I visited Tous les Jours twice this June. The first time was with my family. We just bought some breads and left. The second time was with my boyfriend. We didn't just buy the breads, we also hung out there for a while. I really enjoy the tiny place and I will definitely be back to try out their drinks, since I didn't get the chance to try any from my last visits.













It used to be a place which sold waffles behind my high school, but now it has some branches at the mall. The store even has various flavors now. I tried out half red velvet and half green tea waffle with oreo cream cheese filling, and it was heaven.






There was a 50% discount off promo only at Excelso on Sulawesi Street. So, my boyfriend and his friend went there and had a little fun time. I love the matcha frappio, and the sampler is always my favorite, both chicken and seafood.

It's been quite some time since the last time I actually ate this fast food, especially eating it in the restaurant. I usually just used the delivery service and ate it at home or at campus with my friends for some special occasion. It's good to spend a long time here and just catching up with friends. I tried out this new menu called 'Spicy Chicken Bites'. It's spicy and I like it!

Another promo from Yoshinoya on June to July. You will get two portions of the meal with lower cost. I never really tried Yoshinoya before, and I just realized how much I love the food. I really love the orange chilly and crispy spinach.

You'll get rice and the beef (with the option between the original or yakiniku one), fried chickens, crispy spinach, a bottle of Javana tea, and chocolate pudding. For the sauce, you can take it by yourself. In total you will pay for 99k (after tax) for two portions of the meal above.

Tried out this gelato at Tunjungan Plaza. It was 45k for the medium cup. My friend and I shared one cup and we got to choose three scoops of ice cream. We ended up choosing three different flavors of chocolate.

I kind of forget about the name of the flavors that we chose, but I believe we had 'Dark Choco Hazelnut', 'Choco Brownies', and 'Cocoa Sorbet'. The Cocoa Sorbet was the best! It's a really delicious dark chocolate flavor.

I never really tried out the dimsum here (19k/portion, tax included), but honestly I really love them! The noodle is also really yummy (49k)! I will definitely go back to have some lunch or dinner at this restaurant.

I always love grocery shopping. I need to walk through every aisle before I conclude my shopping and go home. Last June, my month went grocery shopping without me and brought home some of these gems. I especially love the matcha oreo! Really want to purchase it again! I also love the green tea Tohato, the Chit Chat pilus, and Indomie Real Meat. The Chitato foodie is kind of too sweet for me, but it's still delicious though.
